hrd problems
hi, im having a problem with hrd . have it working ok with ic7000 an a usb to serial cable. well it works fine for 5 mins or so , i can change frequencies ok on the radio just by clicking on the cluster but after 5 mins i get an error application is not responding an i have to shut hrd down an unplug the the lead from computer an reconnect it then it works again but only for 5 mins or so.. any ideas ??

Sounds like your USB could be switching off due to RF interference.
I can highly recommend you try a 'Juice Bits' USB extension lead, they are very well shielded and have eradicated RF interference for me. You'll find them on Amazon.
Also make sure no cables/leads/coax from your radio cross over any PC cables as capacitance coupling can occur.
