Years ago I used some of this type of wire which, when in the air is virtually invisible.
Most amusing to see birds perched in mid air :D

Today, I got 10m of speaker wire for a quid in Poundworld Wallsend. I may use for some speaker though.
Operating in South Northumberland and Weardale.

Another option is Wilkos clothes line, 20m of pvc coated steel wire for £2.50
