RIAT at Fairford this weekend - what frequencies?

Post by bingybongy »

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows the frequencies that will be in use for RAIT this weekend?

I have the regular frequencies and the previous RIAT ones (as listed in Airwaves 2012) but wondered if anyone had any advanced knowledge??

Thanks all ...

According to a user on another forum, these have been "published", though where wasn't stated:

Fairford Ground: 130.5 & 234.25

Fairford Tower: 124.8 & 338.225

Fairford Approach: 134.55 & 297.8

Fairford Clearance Delivery (Monday): 121.175
KEY : = channel/stud | ~ = CTCSS/DCS | ^ = transmitter site | ¯ = overhead | * = trunked

Put the Brize Norton approach/radar freqs in as well as they handle a lot of stuff for Fairford

You will need to have a scanner

FYI - these were spot on, also the Brize frequencies as the bigger stuff tended to take off then hold over Brize before displaying :-)

thanks all

I agree, thank you for these.

I also had my scanner on close call whilst walking around the static park, got a few captures. A few digital and some analogue comms from various staff working around the airfield.
