155.35 is Land SAR channel 91 in simplex mode, or 94 in repeater output mode (input 147.475).
Check out the local SAR teams on their website/Twitter/Facebook and you may be able to relate what you hear to their activity.

That is certainly a nationally allocated land SAR repeater frequency but it won't be Search and Rescue you can hear in the Cleveland area. Your local teams don't use these repeater frequencies and the team working channels are higher up in Marine band.

unless you know who it is
Are you both hearing what appears to be a taxi firm or is it two or more people (maybe taxi drivers) talking and could you hear both sides of the conversation?Minus1 wrote:155.35 is Land SAR channel 91 in simplex mode, or 94 in repeater output mode (input 147.475).

I doubt it`s 2 drivers using import radios if it`s being heard in Boro and Redcar......
I really need to set up another radio so I can keep upto date lol

What were the callsigns? Can you post a recording? (e.g. on Soundcloud)

Re: 155.3500
No, we don't use repeaters, everything is either on the team working channel or via Tetra. If you are picking up a repeater it isn't of course necessarily local. As has been suggested, if you can get a call sign or alternatively the CTCSS tone being used then I could ID the team if it is MR.Does the Cleveland team use any repeaters? I`ve not heard anything
