Re: CRT SS6900 V6 HIDDEN MENU
BFxxxC is for CW
BFxxxF is for FM and AM
BFxxxU is for USB
BFxxxL is for LSB
clarifier for unit and selector for ten's
1 point is for 10Hz, or something near this
I have on my 6900N : 570C, 570F, 168U and 865L
FRxxx0, FRxxx4, FRxxx5 and FRxxx9 and fine tuning for CW, AM, FM USB and LSB
(I didn't touch them, 288, 324, 333 and 368 on my 6900N)
LO000C : no adding frequency for CW
LO000F : no adding frequency for FM or AM
LO2500U : +2.500 Hz for USB (recall : BFxxxU is lower than other value)
LO-2500L : -2.500 Hz for LSB (recall : BFxxxL is higher than other value)
no need to change them, normally
some reading : http://mw0uzo.co.uk/.../22-at-5555-serv ... -alignment...
Wait 15 or 20mn to get 6900N to warm up, more if needed before to adjust anything.
If misaligned, the frequency you see is not the good one.
Lower de RF gain if reception is too strong.
use clarifier to heard nicely someone (27.554.800 for example),
go to service menu,
change BFxxxX to BF(xxx-20)X (for example),
switch off then on,
set clarifier to 27.555.000 (example), it should be good now,
repeat if needed with units

Re: CRT SS6900 V6 HIDDEN MENU
Hi is there specialist radio realignment equipment required to perform this procedure?
Does the radio have to be turned off and on for each channels realignment.
My Anytone quad 5 is off by maybe 20hz to 60hz on different frequencies. On triple 5 its tuned to 27.555 .60 so others on the frequency start to sound normal.
When the radio is on for a half hour or so it doesn't just drift but sails away from whichever frequency it appears to be tuned to. I've stopped using it for now but would like to get it sorted if its possible. Thanks
