Altai NE7500 Desk Mic Wiring York JCB 863 HELP

Post by bertonumber1 »

Hey guys, I was given an altai desk mic by a friend and I'm trying to wire it to a York jcb 863.
I cannot find anything with regard to colour codes or wiring for this mic. I have the pins for the York but am at a loss for the which actual mic colours are what.

Anyone have any advice or know the microphone?

Thanks in advance
Kind Regards

Rab

You can find out which wire is RX and which is TX with a multimeter . Key the mic and the wire that gives you continuity with the shield is TX . Without it keyed the wire that gives you continuity with the shield is RX . The audio wire is usually shielded .
