I don't have one handy , but isn't the just the internal mounting and plastic control markers that are offset ? I thought the switch lined up at 12 o'clock just like the rest . Might be wrong . As I say , I don't have one here to look at .

I think you're right about that Paul. I never opened one before. But 90 degrees offset seems to be depending on the marker inside the pot.

Got one of the pots from radio- media- systems and it's bang on same as cobra 148 gtl DX. I haven't fitted it yet but it is same dimensions and values and has the centering on KC shift and is slightly offset as original.
Also it only took 5 days delivery from france :D

9 euros isn't a bad price for a fine/course dual pot.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

I agree , but the postage showed up as €30 when I looked . Although it'll probably be less if you contact them . Me being me , I'll still like to try and source them from the original Chinese (probably) supplier .

FYI . He doesn't have any Claude . Think they're all MIC/RF GAIN controls .
