I found some interesting mod in a President Grant PC-999AC.

What the hell is this?

I found out this is a high swr/no antenna protection.

The base of TR46 alc sense is disconnected by pulling out jp23. The white wire on solder side goes to the base of TR46.
The other side of white wire goes to the ANT (2) hole. In the ANT (2) hole that component is maybe a germanium diode, WF GAZ17.
Through that PCB board and a 100Ohm resistor what is drilled in pcb Negative trace. The ANT (1) running on the other side of that small PCB board.
There is a blue capacitor(?) labelled 100nS betveen negative and the white wire from TR46.

EDIT: I forgot that 2,5k resistor, from R279 (VR13 side) to R286 (TR48 collector side).
