President George export setting

Hello,

I looking for a President George export and i have a qeustion about the export setting.
When there's no voltage on the President George and you switch on the President George again, you have to program the George again to export.

There's also a mod to solder a 560 ohm resistor near IC701 , if this mod is done you don't have to program the George anymore after disconnect power ?

When I bought my president George I was able to change the settings and they remain in the next time I reconnect the rig back up

If the 560ohm resistor is soldered next to the CPU, the radio will remain last mode settings. Today it don't make sense to reprogram the radio all times. Standard is export mode.

Whenever you disconnect power from the President George you have to re-enter the security code.

All the George's I've had have remained in the last used setting when powered on, even the one I bought new from a shop many moons ago.
