installing PA-039 into Uniden 300 - TX/RX LED issue

Post by mutley »

Hi guys

I'm after some advice is possible?

I've put a PA-039 board into a Uniden 300 chassis as the old board was toast. All is good now except the TX/RX LED. RX is fine, but I'm having some issues with the TX. I found some blurry schematics on here for the original board and have tried to tie them into the uni 200 board, but not succeeding.

If I just connect RX to the areas that get 8V on TX, the LED lights up fine, but it seems to rob the TX audio.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction of where the TX and RX +v's should go?

Many thanks

Sticking a resistor in line seems to have sorted it.
