Good luck with the sliders fitting, I don't know how people manage to lose them unless they are weak & break off.

They break off easily after all the years. Old plastic material.

I will talk to the printer if he can make some black sliders. But they can be spray colored of course. For best results they can be grinded with fine sandpaper before painting.

Re: Astatic 1104C - Repair & Overhaul
Well my thanks go out to Ralf and the return of a favour more than 7 years old.
I needed a single slider due to one missing when purchased. Ralf came through with a lovely pair of sliders, though I have only replaced the one I require at the moment.
It fits well, I let the heat of the sun at it for 10 mins and just pressed it on as you do with the top case of the Mic when reassembling.
Looks the part and works as the part.

Good job. I have contemplated this for awhile but lacked the resources. I will need a few when you are ready to ship.

I’ve just acquired a mic same as this today.
Sliders are not broken!
I do have to strip it down though to take apart and
Grease the sliders etc

Out of interest, what do people use to grease those sliders?
I have used silicon grease over the years, not spray.
