Nice :)
I've done that many a time with the old finger painting. Red's the worst as it looks like you've been wearing nail polish if you don't get it off with a bit of thinners..or if it's black, people might think you're a Goth lol.
I now use a Nitrile/Latex glove on my 'holding hand'. Always throw them away afterwards though as the dried paint can flake off all over stuff if it's reused later on.

I found the silver paint they do in pound land is also a very good match for president. Moondust silver is metallic colour whereas the president colour is Matt finish

I'd do the +10khz mod on it and mark it as such on the BRITE/DIM switch inlay . Just my 10c :)

This is the jackson I did a while ago with it. You can't tell it's been painted the match is so close.

Hi Slamjam, Interested in how that turned out for you, the Pic seems to be gone :(

I have a nice Silver Jackson, front of face is very good but some very slight wear on the corner edges on top and sides. So I would mask the front and respray the rest after a lite rub down.

Did you lacquer it when finished?

love to see some pics if you can
Can't help but love an Adams.

I've just re-read my post and realised what a turkey I am ! It would have been a good idea if you were painting the black plastic inlay as well :)

That's it I've made my mind up after seeing what you've done, I'll just have to get a new decal from Ray.
At least I only need one as my other Grant I have had no front when I bought it so I fitted a Cobra front and channel switch.
The chance of finding a good front are about zero.
