Which radio version are you using? Type 1 or 2? Simplex or trunking? There isn't much you can really do with the trunking version. I'm not sure if you can prog the bell button to do 1750Hz (I assume you meant Hz not MHz) I think the best you'll be able to do is prog the zig-zag line to open sq, and use the keypad for channel numbers (if you have a keypad). The type 1's really are very basic. Nice rigs, but basic.

Hello 26mb04
My model is stamped "Alcatel" and there is an alpha-numeric keyboard.
I ask the question because I saw this on another site, (http://f5jtz.free.fr/pjacquet/t2020vhf.htm) unfortunately this article dates from 2006 and its author does not respond to messages.
I therefore ask for help to carry out this manipulation
cordially

The picture on that site is a type 2. If you have a type 2, you will need the type 2 software. It's out there, but as I've never had a type 2 I don't have the software for it. Can you read from the radio at all? If you can, you've probably got the right software.

Re: Programmation Tait 2020
I confirm I have a type 2 and I have the latest software update found at the bottom of the page here (https://vk6ysf.com/T2010_Programming_201912.htm)
I have access to the options (DTMF, Selcall and CCI), but I cannot modify the bell to make it a relay call.
Thanks for your help, have a nice day.
cordially

Re: Programmation Tait 2020
From what I remember, the bell button can be programmed to operate a mechanical relay on one of the rear connection pins. One way to get 1750Hz might be to program a custom Selcall tone of 1750Hz with a custom duration (1 second maybe). I've done this before to get a 1750Hz tone, albeit on another radio.

Good evening
I have already tested via Selcall, without success, when at the rear pinout I have nothing about this mentioned in the documentation.
Thank you for your support

Claude, what happens when you key the mike with the current programming? Is there something happening and does it transmit?

Yes no problem, everything is working correctly, I just have to configure the opening of a relay via the button "Bell" + PTT, that I can not do ....... I manage to open the relay via an application on my smartphone (SoundGenerator). Regards Claude
