Hi guys ..
Can the low power setting on the dx70th be adjusted ?
Currently it’s doing 13w and I need 12w
Is there a way of doing this ??

Turn the power down on the board or use the switch inside,sounds like the radio is in the high power position.
You need to remove 7 screws from the top case,and once you have taken off the cover look for a white sliding switch inside = slide it the other way = but you might only get 5w for pressing (L)ow and 50w for when its in (H)igh ?

For all the differance 1 watt will make its not worth the hassle fella.

I know it’s frustrating !! But my linear will not operate if more than 12w enters it .. it’s got protection .. so 1 bloody watt !!

Hi
When you say turn power down on board do you mean the overall power or can I just adjust the low power setting only ?
I wonder if like other radios there is a software menu where values can be adjusted ?
I need 12w at max
