Alinco dx70th low power adjustment help

Post by No1cber »

Hi guys ..

Can the low power setting on the dx70th be adjusted ?

Currently it’s doing 13w and I need 12w

Is there a way of doing this ??

Cheers

Turn the power down on the board or use the switch inside, sounds like the radio is in the high power position.

You need to remove 7 screws from the top case, and once you have taken off the cover look for a white sliding switch inside = slide it the other way = but you might only get 5w for pressing (L)ow and 50w for when its in (H)igh ?

I know it’s frustrating !! But my linear will not operate if more than 12w enters it .. it’s got protection .. so 1 bloody watt !! 😢

Hi

When you say turn power down on board do you mean the overall power or can I just adjust the low power setting only ?

I wonder if like other radios there is a software menu where values can be adjusted ?

I need 12w at max

Cheers
