Ive just bought a cheap icom 290d 2 meter multimode, it had an audio fault which turned out to be cap gone short,,,rig now works well fm usb but no ouput on lsb, when i tested tonight with a friend he did hear the first letter i shouted and i could tell by display a litle output it seems to be receiving on lsb...before i strip down just wondered if any you techies out there had this problem...is an alignment problem?
