coax for scanning ???

coax for scanning ???

I am putting a antenna up for scanning , I have a lot of unused satalite tv coax would this be ok to use on my scanning antenna i will be using about 30 mt .

It's good.
I use sat coax for my rx antennas too. Low loss, low cost.
WE ARE MOTÖRHEAD, AND WE PLAY ROCK N' ROLL
You can't have too many antennas...

Plugs depend on your needs.
For my miniwhip I use F type one side and BNC on the other.

HI would it be possable to use what they call twin shotgun coax to run two antennas say one for pmr and another one for 2mt/70cmt fed into two scanners would this be k ???

Its just two bits of coax stuck together. As long as separate sources to separate receivers then should be fine. 👍
