To try and be a little helpful, do they have in cab 'mobile' radios or handheld? What length of aerials do the buses have?
Some companies use GPS and a RF link to report estimated times to bus stops.

10 mins!! You obviously have never used the bus service in Swansea area (or anywhere else in Wales come to that), the only thing that happens every 10mins is the chavs breeding cycle.
