Halnaker WIndmill - Elevation 410ft. Can clearly see IoW from there, even through the mist! Not sure if we had line-of-sight with each other; I'll take the signal light as well next time to see!

Catch you next month, Trev.

Might even tune in myself tomorrow just to see if anyone else in Exeter reads this forum, is on air and can be picked up in Redhills.

New to this forum by the way, very good what I've seen so far.

i reckon i can make it to dorket head in nottm, which give's good coverage to the east. There is line of site to the ridge running south east of lincoln. And to some high points sleaford way.
Or i could try alport heights to try to get in to stoke or some hilltops round manchester/congleton.

I can take a uk40 set too so ive something to do lol

Any takers? as ive no hope of making it down south unless entire radio's can be ducted from your hand lol

Thanks! 8)
We can only give it a go. Got a Midland / Alan 78 Multi CB kicking around here as well somewhere so I might have to jury rig something up for that in due course.
