DowloaDED AND INSTALLED LATEST VERSION OF sCAN125 AND THE DRIVERS. Sorry hit my caps lock there. It fails to recognise that my scanner is attached and suggests I manually select a COM port. The drop down COM port box gives me one choice COM1...select that and I get a recurring com port error box pop up. Its Windows 7 and I think I installed the drivers properly although I must admitt I'm a bit rsty on Windows as I only use Linux pc's these days.

Thanks for the reply. I will email you when I get the time. But first I will re-install the drivers following those instructions carefully to see if it solves the problem. I am using Windows 7.

Its working fine now. It turns out I hadn't correctly installed the drivers using the Device Manager in Windows 7. All sorted now and no need for me to bother you by email.

OK

I would like to take this opportunity to all users of Scan125 / DriveR8 / HF150 / future software to contact me directly via my website/Email addresses for each product.

I can not monitor all the various forums available on the net and those that I do are a secondary and non prime objective.
