This will do the job fine. 10a would be a bit iffy as these sets do 60w ssb 50w fm.

10-12 amp will run it but I always have a bit extra in case I want to run an amp. I use a 60a psu but I have 2 HF sets connected. But that's just me.
If it's just the radio you're running that will be fine.

nothing is to big put it this way you want it to last and dont want to flog a dead horse do you , you buy a power pack that say just has enough amps to run your radio , so the power supply is running at 100 % just to run the radio what will it do , it will give up long before it should , get double what you need allways, you want 30 amps get 60 amps you want 15 get 30 etc why because it will run smoother cooler longer you pull 20 amps out if a 40 amp its running at 50 % you want to run a 100 watts so you buy a 100 watt burner it runs at 100 % get a 200 watt burner it runs cooler , and lasts longer why as it runs at 50 % lets say you can run a mile flat out try running flat out for for 10 ok i more than doubbled the last on but get my drift ?
never get just what you need allways get more its cost effective in the long run , hope this helps
and just so you know these radios can pull a max of 15 amps
and me personally got the mass sps -50 amp power supply looks the same as the one in the link but does 20 amps more ive had it a good few years now and never let me down yet
on air, tyne&wear, northumberland, durham, holy island,eu120+eu124 and anywhere from gateshead/north wales
scrap uk 40 give cbers L/M/Hcalling on 27.355/555 usb qsy 27.015 lsb/410 usb cb radio is for life not just for profits
i do cb radio not 11mtres,countrys worked 2015 with imax 2000 72

If it were me I would by at least a 30 - 50 amp (bigger the better),because as stated the psu would be under far less stress.

Used to talk to someone ages ago who used the above power supply out of a arcade xbox game console.

Some CB/ham psu's have a fag socket, and I charge my phone off it.

Maybe the bigger supply will be needed more in a few year if you choose to run an amp.

Gave my mate a lone of my 50 amp psu until he gets one,as my 30 is really big enough for me just now,as I am only running about 30w.

Some of the locals use something like this and its about half the price of a psu ;)

Dont be tempted to get a PSU and run it at near its full rating, it is more likely to fail and there is the possibility it can fail at a high voltage that will fry the insides of your rig.
Better to go for a bigger PSU, you will always want to add something else to it later like a linear.
I wouldn't recommend going for a LED power supply, you dont know how much electrical noise you will get on the output.

Have never used a led psu myself but there are quite a few local to me who swear by them, and none have reported any excessive electrical noise with the ones they are using.

One of the full call amateurs who uses one does electronics for a living, and has been running one for about 4 year without any issues.

And on the strength of how good he thought it performed for the money, others have also purchased one and saved a few quid, with no issues being reported.

I’m running a CRT 9900 off an Alinco DM-30E 30 amp power supply. No issues up to now with performance. A cracking little unit.
