Some say this is madness

Post by bigj5555 » 16 Sep 2019, 17:01

I say its an addiction lol...

All radios work perfectly as they should do...
Cosmetic conditions range from - very good > mint/as new in box !

Ran out of room on this table....but still looking for more radios...
Just need to figure out what kind of shelving / desk to use/show them on

I'm not that impressed personally. It loses many, many points for the lack of a Fidelity 1000 being in the collection.

;)

I feel your pain though having a collection of mainly 27/81 stuff myself.

I hate to mention that you have at least another 4 variants of the Hygain V to acquire. Another 2 of the Tristar 747...

That's why I've stuck to Fidelity and Amstrad.

5 radios bought, collection complete! ;)

Edit: 6, as I forgot the 2001 AMSTRAD/FIDELITY hybrid.

My secret pleasure are mk1 Lincoln’s and hr2510’s I’ve just got a chip switched hr2600. I have a longing for Realistic htx 100’s. I bought 2 while we were on holiday in France without my wife finding out😂 I sometimes just sit and hold them🤔Wouldn’t be so bad if I used them on 11 or 10 but I’ve got a load of hf gear for that. I will talk it through with a professional some time.
I feel better now I’ve confessed.

Used to have one which had been opened up for 11 metres. I sold it on long ago but recently found the original box for it.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...
