Ye I though hygain but the extra switch for 10/11 mtrs and the a b c d uk lights under channel display made me wonder if it was hygain based eith few extras under another name.

Looks like a hygain V as mentioned that's been drilled, extra bits and LED's added, a bladt over with a spray can and maybe a decal/sticker fitted if it was sanded flat first to get rid of the raised lettering.

With 3D printing technology nowadays, I'm sure it won't be long before someone's printing their own custom-made radio front panels.

Perhaps my idea of making a Rotel RVC250 Homebase isn't just a pipe-dream ;)

That was a image taken from the original pic sent to me.I was unable to select the image from my camera memory for some reason.
The face is flat too .theirs no rim around the edge or a rim that separates the area where the channel display is .
I'm sure it's just a modded 5dx too.
The guy didn't know what it was but said a paper sticker in rear had gone messy rubbed away but knows it was cybernet.

£60 ,bit ott me thinks

Well it's certainly unusual, but if it works, looks decent and has all the channels it says it has then it's okay for the price...even if it is a bit of a mongrel/hybrid.

I have no idea what that abortion is, but I can tell you the guy has a THL T6C phone, so they don't have great taste in equipment.
