You need one of these Craig, it'll solve all your audio problems:

Grabbed one off these of a local... improves it a little, but I should whip the lid off and have a fettle to sort it properly :-)

Yeah . I bought a AT-6666 from him a year or so ago . Very good service . The only complaint I had was that the radio wasn't double boxed when sent .

S.
Yeah mine wasn;t either, but came in a large padded envelope. Survived well enough. I suppose that's what insurance is for. Advise buyers to refuse damaged packages or take photos and document for a claim later perhaps. I always try to double box when sending, but not always practical sadly :-(
The Dynascan AT5555 I bought from them a few weeks ago also came in a padded envelope. With the minimal amount of internal packaging inside CB radio boxes these days there isn't much protection against the parcel being dropped or taking a hard knock. But postage is free and you're covered by ebay and PayPal.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

Exactly the same with mine. S meter always around the 5 - 7 mark. Maybe it's set too high from the factory.

I use the budget K-PO NM532 power mic on my Mckinley EU and various other radio's. It amplifies and gives good body to the audio.

That's the very mic I have bought matie.... for the rare occasions I'll be on voice mind. Waiting on a few bits being delivered and my vox solution will hopefully be up and running :-)

I trust it's going to be returned?

When they were "RadioZing" they double boxed radio's for added protection. In reality there's only a few air bubbles and two thin pieces of cardboard to protect the radio in transit. Environmentally friendly? Yes. Radio friendly? No.

Yes went back and a crt one came instead very quick service no messing about I have the new one and it's perfect apart from I prefer the LCD and led colour of the dynascan I'm not a blue light fan.
Kinda wish I'd got the programing cable option but I originally bought it while consuming alcohol :D

Agreed . You should be barred from using Ebay after 2+ pints . Although I'm sure drunken CB sales must make up about 90% of their profits :)

Very good radio's the 6900N. I've got two of them here on top of the Dynascan. After a bit of juxtaposition I concluded both radio's work equally well. I actually don't mind the blue display.

I'll be parting with one of the 6900N's if anyone is looking for one. All boxed etc.

That's the way it should be :)
From times when radios had 23ch only. Google for background story.

Yea the radio hasn't been programmed with the jumps so the channels are in the wrong order it just goes up in 10kc steps

That's more useful for SSB because people use frequencies rather than channel numbers. My 6900 and CRE8900 go up in 5kc steps.
