Just got me one of these chappies, a little overkill, but, I'll use it on the bench for testing other 12v equipment.

Does anyone have any instructions for this PSU? Looked on t'internet and can't seem to spot a pdf anywhere.. {bnghd}

Though I know the operation is not rocket science it's nice to have a read of such.

TIA Dave

Just bought a new in the box, Lucas UK40 radio, along with a new Lucas speaker, new Lucas swr meter, new, sealed Lucas patch-lead and a new A.S. (Antenna Specialists MR- 276 "Smokey & The Bandit" I believe) aerial complete with magmount, hatch mount and its related paperwork.
Will resell some of it again as I was only after the radio itself as it's minter than my existing unboxed one.

Ah, the ICOM 706 MK2G. An excellent radio indeed.

32A should be more than adequate to run the ICOM.

Excellent purchases.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

astradyne, thank you!
Actually i don't use tuner for CB, because have 5/8 antenna with resonance on 27.200 (SWR 1.01) and average SWR 1.2 from 27000 to 28000. Tuner mainly for HF and another antennas.
But PS is real a good purchase. I'm happy with it and enjoy it already a few days.

Just that it's not there anymore. Don't think it was a Maurer. Someone was daft enough to pay £450 or it was removed.

There was a Colt 1200dx for £300 BIN but that has since been changed to £250 with a start of £150.

The boxed Uniace 200 that sold for £106 I think it was has been relisted. Either the winner didnt pay, or they won their own radio.

There's a shed-load / loft-load of over-inflated crap on at the moment. What were £10 radios are suddenly starting at £50 and the urge is there for normally rational people to stick their own stuff on too at stupid prices and get in on the action while they can.
I don't know what's possessing people to spend way over the odds on stuff that's guaranteed to lose value again shortly.

It's like the gold rush all over again. Not that I'm old enough to remember that though...honestly ;)

Don't knock it mate. If people are currently prepared to pay 2 , 3 or 4+ times the normal going rate for stuff, then more fool them.

As long as Fidelity 1000's don't start going for more than the usual £3, then I'll be happy ;)
