What are the first 3 digits of the serial number?

Made in 1980 in Taiwan. That's not one of the ones with UK channels then because it's too early.

The one with the UK 40 muppets + mid & high bands was the 9FDX, the one that was FM/AM/SSB mid & high band was the 9DX & the one that was just AM/SSB (again mid & high bands) was the plain & simple Stalker 9,so we could do with knowing exactly which Stalker 9 he has.

I can tell you that it was made in 1980 in Taiwan . Think you'll need to open it up and post some photos to see if it's been modded for the UK40 band .

I've got 03003721 here, AM/SSB only. Cracking radios in their day and strangely one radio that doesn't seem to divide opinion I.e pretty much everyone accepted they were decent.

I worked the world in the early 90s on an 9 FDX and a bremi BRL200 amp. I cant find this radio now but if I do I'll post up the serial.

All Stalker 9 with FM and PC-893 PCB I had started with 13... serial number. Should be the same with the ST9 FDX.

it is just the am ssb version no fm fitted as far as i can tell
the block of crystals has a number uni fl-065
reason i am asking is there is a hold drilled in the back of the unit
nothing fitted just a piece of tape covering the hole

You've just started a new thread asking this same question . The crystal filer is standard .
