From what i can remember of mine if it rained you could not use it the swr was in the red

Same with mine soon as rain came swr went mad,and if it frooze the plastic split.We tried to find one everywhere,closest we found was when hygain started doing the Super Penatrator expensive not like back in the day,got mine from Slab I lived round corner near tin town.There was a Mighty Magnum up on Meanwood road just after the refuge place,think it's snapped now.

My ol' m8 Craig , "Brown Bear" from Paisley had one up on Glasgow Road for years . I went down the 27/81 path and bought the wonderful Thunderpole mkIII .... {bnghd} Saying that it was only temporary , as I passed my A licence shortly after and put up a beam :)

Its just how it looked when i took the screen shot.. the top section along with the capacitance hat is missing

On my phone screen, it looks like the top 2ft is hovering about a foot away from the rest of it...spooky!
