I had one of those years ago in mint condition. bought it off an amateur friend for £50 sold it to someone over in merseyside neck of the woods for same as I paid for it few years later, fantastic antenna and very well built. Wished i'd never sold it nowquatermass wrote:Lemm AT107 Super 16...Antenna porn for 10/11 mtrs, ive just dug mine out after 20years being inside the garage, a REAL antenna 3/4 wave vertical with 16 radials at the base. Ive just started to get it tuned on 27mhz......
Bloke came over in a flat back wagon said he couldn't be arsed undoing all the legs on it, only to put them back on again.

They're still available (or were a couple of months back on ebay), as was its 5/8th wave little brother. Think they were about £160.

I bought an AT-92 a few months back. Made a few minor upgrades to it but its a fantastic antenna. Great ears and shoots dx better than my IMAX. Also does extremely well working ground wave contacts. I have made several 200+ mile ground wave contacts with the antenna and my RCI2970N2.
