I am afraid I don't manage the TM1 PO Box, All I can do is keep chasing Simon on this and he has not been replying to me. I will again re-double my efforts to resolve this and apologise for how long it's been dragging on for. Its not fair and it's not right

My own absence from the boards has been due to a number of factors, but mainly because I have not been able to access from work, which has severely restricted my ability to get on to keep on top of things. For that, I personally apologise.

I have emailed Dave over at Fox Bravo and I am going to try and arrange something with him to get stalled QSL cards out to members and also discuss a new solution for our two groups. I'll update as I get info/form a plan.

I am trying to pick this up and sort it out, but as I haven't been involved in that side of things, please bear with me whilst I try and get things sorted. Thanks

Thank You Craig,
I understand this issue wasn't created by you.
If Simon would just pop up & fill some of the gaps in then we might be alright.
(at least confirm if he has cards to send on?)

I hope your successful and a resolution is found to this ongoing problem.
Your efforts are appreciated.

I can only apologise for the lack of response on the PO Box front. As as some of you will know I've not been on the site for quite sometime and Craig has been doing a cracking job of keeping the site running and he wasn't really involved in the Tango Mike DX group when we first set this up years ago. That aside we've struggled to keep the PO Box running for the group and in the end I've had to admit defeat on that score. Seeing Royal Mail hike the price from around £45 per year back in 2011 up to £270 as of current date means that it's just no longer viable to keep this up. When we started TM I was happy to bare the cost of the service but now with the odd contribution here and there it was costing an arm and a leg. We did partner with the FB PO Box but I was advised that this was no longer available due to problems with the PO Box and changes at Royal Mail. Craig and I have been looking into alternatives but have not really found anything suitable so regretfully for now we have no active PO Box.

As for existing cards I'm glad that some have found there way to you. I'm gutted about the situation but on top of this I've had another problem compounding this in that I moved home last year. I did have Royal Mail redirection but there has been admin problem with the local office and as a result some mail didn't make it through. I've been trying to sort this with RM and I'm hoping that some cards are waiting for me but I need to chase this up this week. If anything is waiting they will be forwarded as per normal. The whole thing has been a mess and again I can only apologise for this. My absence hasn't helped. If anyone has any suggestions as to how we can run some kind of QSL redirection service for our members then please post here so we can check it out.

Also a special sorry to Tim, 26-TM-1009. If he's reading this drop me a PM and I'll sort something out for you.

Regards
Simon

Thank You Simon for the information,
I can see the PO Box is pretty much dead in the water for now,
At least we all know where we now all stand.
