G'day.
Had a tour around the studios of Susy Radio 531MW yesterday afternoon (09-09-06) by one of their enginners' John, and met up with some of the DJs.
The tour also included the audio prosessing room which had some impresive equipment for AM/FM and I-Net streamimg at 128kb.
The antenna was well designed and doing a great job for the area that it was using and the polarization was vertical dispite a lot of the antenna being horizontal (max height allowed is 20mtrs power 1W erp).
Transmitter room and its' AM transmitter and power supply, with monitoring equipment well layed out.
The main TX was small using only a printed circuit board, the PA was stand alone and had 2 driver transistors driving 4 transistor finals.
