he's just on the cusp of my RX range even with the height here.
He's on this ship according to QRZ. I just scraped a contact :-)

Thought I'd try 30m WSPR overnight and was not disappointed.
New Zealand and also into Alaska, power set at 5w. The chap in Alaska has had quite the life. a British ex-pat, former DTI officer and former Base Commander/comms for Sir Ran Fiennes unsupported expeditions thru the 80's. He has quite the story. I like to take the time to read people's QRZ profiles, there are some amazing people out there for sure! https://www.qrz.com/db/KL7L/

Not been able to play radio this evening so left it running 30m WSPR again. No Alaska yet but 30m has proven consistently amazing for 5w! Its a damn shame there's no Voice section on the band really!!
