IC271 info required

Anybody got one with a Mutek?
I have one, the RF gain does not seem to do anything on FM mode.
Before I try to find a fault that may or may not exist, can anybody clarify by personal use if the RF Gain should or should not do anything when Mutek 271 board is fitted?
