RIP George Dobbs, G3RJV

Post by MrWeetabix » 21 Mar 2019, 14:00

If you're a regular reader of Radcom or Practical Wireless you'll be saddened to hear of the death of George Dobbs, G3RJV. The Reverend passed away in the early hours of Monday, 11 March 2019. George had been unwell for some time but he had been living quite comfortably in a care home. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated quite rapidly. Jo, his wife, was with him when he passed.

George was the founder of the GQRP Club, which was established back in 1974. I know there are some keen QRPers amongst us, so you will all be familiar with the man and his club.
