in a week it'll be 'who?'

I really don't get some people and their intent on causing harm or upset. unfettered internet access brings out the worst in some people I guess

Nothing too exciting but I just added a MMDVM Jumbospot to the shack and all of a sudden DMR has transformed from a fairly sedate Phoenix system to a very active Brandmeister system. Only £79.00 on ebay so well chuffed!!

I just bought & fitted a Com Spec TE-32D ctcss unit to my TR-751E as i was'nt willing to pay the ludicrous price for the TU-7 plug in ctcss unit from PIEXX in the USA as it would of cost a small fortune & their shipping costs are a farce + the import tax, this does the job just fine at £28 & it was brand new in the box & that was a steal as the none readout version goes for £50 & i also bought one of those at the same time, handy gadgets especially for older none ctcss transceivers :D

Also a WW2 era Eddystone 400X receiver, very similar to the 358X but with different coverage & rarer,it covers 130Khz - 2.2Mhz using x4 band coil packs, has a BFO so SSB / CW are very intelligible on 160m,it also sounds awesome to listen to the Broadcast stations on LW & MW on AM,not bad for £50 :D

RCA AR-8516L Receiver, this is in superb clean condition,it covers 80Khz - 30Mhz no gaps & is working but needs a little TLC,not sure how heavy it is but it certainly felt a little heavier than an AR88D getting it up the stairs tonight.

It cost me just £60 :) & there is one currently on Joke-Bay at £700 BIN that is not in as clean condition.

Managed to finally get a head separation cable for my Icom 706Mk2 on ebay, The OPC-581.
Made the seller an offer and was accepted.
They were selling 2 of them if anyone is interested.
Now I've a separation kit for both my 706 & 7000 sorted 😁

I got a TYT MD-380 today! I've been wanting to give digital a try for ages, just uploaded a code plug with lots of the GB7 repeaters in so hopefully I can give it a go soon. My locals seem to be GB7CK and GB7AS...

😮 Oh so apparently someone's been actively using my callsign on the pheonix network for some time 🤔 So I wonder what kind of abuse has been done in my name 😂

Recently acquired from a TM1 member, this Kenwood TS-670S Quadbander. 7/21/28/50Mhz 10 watt all mode. Has the GC-10 general coverage converter board fitted.

Meant for the Japanese home market and never officially imported into the UK.
