Hi guys n girls,
I currently have an antron99 which has seen 20 years use.
So I decided to upgrade to a sirio 2016.
Cracking big antenna upon first sights of build quality.
I have a 20FT alloy mast (quite a light 16 gauge 2 inch diamater) mounted on the rear of building 18FT up.
The base of the mast is lost over 5FT mounted on a t and k (4FT apart with 7 inch Rawl expandable plugs).
My worry is the weight of the base of this big antenna on top of a big bendy alloy pole 38FT up.
My initial thoughts were to just guy the mast (3way) below the antenna but thought i would see what you guys thought.
How high is recommended for these antenna to resonate and perform? And do you think this will be safe on this mast so high up?
Any thoughts, suggestions, feedback appreciated
Thanks in advance
Regards
