Does anyone know York shop watch is encrypted DMR and are they tier 3?
And I have all the frequencies for the races and a local construction site which I enjoy
as usually sites only have radios for banks men

I keep hearing that telltale hammer drill sound on the York OAP wardens frequency - I wonder if they've gone digital.

They haven't that's the weird thing but there is a digital frequency on the same frequency as the OAP wardens which is very strange.

Same with Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate. Sometimes I get the drill sound, sometimes voice. Wonder if someone didn't check the WTR before selecting their frequency.

Ditto on the York traffic warden freq - I can hear digital noise as I get near Leeds.

I think that when I replace my laptop, I'll get an SDR dongle. I've resisted it because I'm trying to stay active and a handheld scanner can be taken out and about.

Hi,
There is a similar incidence in the Leeds area on 165.25, the TRBO signal, a taxi voice signal and a Taxidata signal all in same place. The user dont seem to be troubled.

.Re the Trunk net on 179.8375.Just been looking into this operator and it looks like either Transdev York or Yorkshire Coastliner. The way the net is set up is wierd. Bus 602 called control and control shows target same ident as bus. Route 10 mentioned which is Nether Poppleton-Stamford bridge, and is jointly run by both transdev firms. The interprefix calls get rejected 80% of times but i alays thought that this was for use between two different nets. Is the busnet in York city center still working as i havent seen or heard of it for a while or is as i expect this the new Transdev York-YCL net ? This net using Pfx 017.
