Don't know about people being a hypocrite Tim,just that both are as bad as each other thats all.

If people want to sit on UK19 and 27.555 all day they will.

So put together a cheap little uk40fm setup just to see how things are going in my area (Teeside) and so far can't find a single soul ..

Thankings muchly in advance :)
As Collector has said previously,a 5/8th wave vertical up a decent height is really whats needed for homebase,so what antenna are you using 777 ?

Most of the locals will no doubt have a radio with ssb,but there should be some on the UK40 FM.

yeah because your a braindead moron from ch 19 and a one channel; operator with a hf set
At least some CB'ers have enough braincells to have their hf radio set with 2 different frequencies =

Vfo A is 27.555 USB
Vfo B is 27.781.25 FM

Must admit, pressing the A/B button is a lot easier ;)

What I would do is is have the UK40 channels programmed into the memory V/M, and have VFO A for Hi Band and VFO B for Mid Band. And if it's a Yaesu, then 27.555 on the Home button ;)

Not a clue who or what someone is so lets label em 'amateurs'.. walloping out a decent signal n talking where they shouldn't so must be a ticket holder...
Some right regular Sherlocks out there😉..

We have a group round here that are mainly non ticket ops.. we have our own freq we run digitally with BP to keep away the divvies n mongs.. we did try cb but the mongs decided otherwise so went DMR with BP.. all we want is to use radio n chat yet the sink estate mongs want to cause havoc...
