I recall people saying they'd had trouble trying to wire up a non-Magpie mic', so the wiring diagrams may come in handy.

Well tho no1 is desired !!!!!!!! to give up boxed new for it is... too painful ! will have to sit and wait that no1 maybe coming up in the future for the right coin... (fashions a fake 110001 sticker and hopes no one notices)

I'm going to fashion my own Magpie number 0 decal with my daughter's felt-tip pens and a bit of stickyback plastic like on Blue Peter.

Must look at the serial numbers on my Spirit 40fm, 5x EMS Mercury 1080's and my Megatracker CB1100 as they're much rarer. If I've no.1 on any of those, I'll post a picture just to pee you off even more lol ;)

well as i don`t collect those blast ur cotton socks off... there other radios i would covet a no.1 but i won`t be divulging which !!! i`m glad enough no.1 mag still lives on and the guy is getting it fixed up. They need saving. Using one currently as the muppet mobile. High number tho !

C'mon you, you can't say you'd love another no.1'd plated radio and then say you can't say which one! That's just not cricket.

I reckon it's a Fidelity 1000 no.1 that you're hankering for :)

I`ll take that 001 for my mint boxed magpie.... It`s wings broke and it`s pretty demented keeps flying into windows.... the box is free !!!! and it`s guaranteed extra minty... tried to glue it`s wing back on with toothpaste
