RM KL703 Reviews?
Hi has anyone used the above amplifier? Any thoughts, good or bad. Is it worth getting or is there better ones to be had that would be of the same wattage more or less?

Re: RM KL703 Reviews?
Sure there are a couple of reviews on YouTube . Lovely amp but obtaining a suitable psu to run it at a reasonable price is the problem !

Re: RM KL703 Reviews?
You tested out the swr on the radio side when using linear ? one owner reporting a 2.0 swr with the linear .

Re: RM KL703 Reviews?
This is another owner mention about the high swr problem, can’t find the other owners post on FB but this is someone else reporting similiar. Yours okay ? Possibly just a batch that were built having this particular issue ?
HIGH SWR ON RM KL703......The RM KL703 is a great Amplify very well built in my opinion. Only One Snag is the high SWR it shows the Radio on high Power. To remade this add a chunky verible Capacitor (marked with Yellow Circle) to the input of the first Inductor to Ground. Then monitor the SWR on the Radio & adjust the Capacitor until SWR comes down & it's possible to get a standing Needle. . You could use fixed value Capacitors but you would have to experiment with different values. Sorry i don't know the value of the verible Capacitor but obviously RM didn't use enough Capacitance in the surface mout Capacitor that's installed.
