Heavitree Hospital Exeter Devon

Post by charon »

Had an appointment at this hospital today and was really impressed. Arrived early [as you do] seen early and back home before I knew it.
Not much time to scan for radio stuff but I found a "general comms" type channel that seemed to be a control room. Could not hear replies so obviously on a different channel.
Anyway, the frequency is 452.650.

Hi Burt
I am at big RD&E [Wonford] next week[Sept 1st - seeing a lot of hospitals recently] so will have a good scan while there with any luck.
Best wishes

Again the appointment was conducted at great speed. Good for not having to hang around but I only managed about 10 minutes scan time.
All I found was plenty of dead carriers and one very quiet voice channel on 430.050. This was so quiet I could not identify it [I am hard of hearing and did not have my hearing aids in - it wastes the batteries ;}].
This was at RD&E Wonford, by the way.
I live in East Devon near Axminster - generally not much RF activity here.
