Strange one as I don’t know any DMR radios that drop below 400.000 in the UHF band.

Is it possibly a ghost transmission from a nearby user? I’m struggling to find anything remotely near that frequency

Dont even know difference between them too was into scanning for years then stopped and only recently got a digital scanner again and started learning colour codes dmr etc so might be a ghost transmission but not sure about simplex or repeater someone was dedinetely takking in it but sounded scrambled voice and colour code 7 kept showing until they stopped talking then it continued searching new frequencies

If you listen in analog a repeater when in use sounds like a jackhammer being used.
Simplex you hear a lighter noise like a skipping rope hitting the ground is the only way I can describe it.
Have you heard it since you first heard anything?

Did your scanner give any more info other than colour code? ie did it give talkgroup etc (not that i want you to post it on here!) and as scotty said how did the transmission sound on the scanner?

This frequency lies very close with the tetra comms used by emergency services in UK but i highly doubt it would have been a terminal even if it were the simplex ch you were picking up.

As op says prob something strong from nearby and your scanner just picking up some stray signals or overloaded etc what antenna you using ?
