456.8250 is encrypted dmr but there is another user on this freq as well not encrypted
453.5000 dmr .1 user is falkirk retail park security.i have no idea what the other user is

I have not had my radios on for a few months as been busy but i have had 2 users on this freq. Mainly i hear Edinburgh Uni Security but i was also getting Falkirk CCTV Shopwatch but like i say not been on much lately.

Kings gate shopping centre Dunfermline 453.5000 DMR

456.8250 is that Falkirk CCTV ? I've got a cheap GA5S but I've only managed to pick up Grangemouth freqs.

I take it that it's encrypted via some CTCS ?? Or will I require an upgrade to a DMR ?

Falkirk CCTV was DMR when i last listened but that was a few months ago.

Yep is much better listening than Edinburgh CCTV.

Apologies for the late reply and thanks for the advice on TRX 1. Unfortunately this is out of my price range but it looks the business . Do have any other suggestions at all ?

you could give a sdr dongle ago and try decode dmr ec
