Glasgow city center Shopwatch Digital

Glasgow city center Shopwatch Digital frquency is 453,251,640 it seems to be pretty busy, all different security staff from lots of shops tracking would be thievies etc :)
this is Digital DMR ( Mototrbo)

im using an rtl sdr dvb dongle and HDSDR software, i callibrated it so it will be very close to propper freq.
and i use DSDPlus do decode the digital stuff

453.2500 cc7 slot1 channel1
456.8500 cc8 slot1 channel2

Just to add there's plenty of mototrbo around glasgow.

channel 2 of the city shopwatch, covers the lower part of the city, argyle st out to the trongate I think.
theres a couple of users on that frequency, but each use a different repeater on a different colour code.

you clearly know more about digital than i do..
so the CC i see omn DSD stands for colour code ?
how do these codes work mate ?

by the way i caught talking on 456,052,000 DRM from 5am this morning, sounds like securit talkinbg about leaving the arrowsmith, and having the wrong keys, and fraser building carpark, any thoughts ?

yes CC stands for colour code, this is a number between 1 and 15, it is like the ctcss of the digital world.
a repeater can only have 1 CC and radios need the same CC programmed in on that channel to access the repeater, as long as theres no RAS (restricted access to service) keys etc needed.
even in simplex all radios need to be on the same colour code on the channel in order to talk to each other.

no, 456.850 is the one. but checked 455.850 on Ofcom and it is Clydebank shopsafe. to far away for me to pick up I expect.

to be honest ive not heard it active myself, only now and again I heard channel 2 mentioned and never knew what it was on, but checked the Ofcom site revealed 456.8500
I assume it will have users on it but not had much joy finding them yet,
I will monitor it this afternoon and let you know.

i too saw that 455.850 was clydebank shopping via ofcom site, is there any where on that site to say wheather its a digital or analougue radio liscence ? or is it just the frequency they rent and the mode is up to thr liscencee ?
