Sorry mate, but I think they all use GSM-R. I was hoping like yourself, that they would use something akin to the US rail network, however all I can get which is still on analogue, is Waverley station. Sorry to bring disappointing news.

All train companies now use GSM-R apart from far up north.. The only conversations u might hear are from shunting moves in freight yards such as, Mossend,Millerhill, kingmoor etc

Assume you are in Falkirk. The rail freight terminals in Falkirk are all analogue. Also from Falkirk you will be in range of the West Highland RETB network which has just been upgraded and is analogue and will be for the 25 year contract.

Yep. Various digital options would simply not work in the mountains as they found when they replaced analogue RETB with the digital alternative in Central Wales.

Wouldn't a T3 DMR Network fine as there trunked and network linked?
