Gt yarmouth search and rescue frequencies please
Soon to be comeing to yarmouth on holiday and as i will be near the coast was wondering what there is to hear on my scanner? Search and rescue and any other marine frequencies ect.

Hi I hope this is not to late for you and you have been and gone!
Yarmouth coastguard ch zero 156.000, ch 16 156.800, ch 67 156.375
Yarmouth port controll ch 16 156.600
you should also be able to hear Lowestoft port controll on ch 14 156.700
Norfolk fire service 70.975
Suffolk fire service 71.275

I've lived here for 9 years i moved from south yorkshire been into cb radio since i was a lad of 13 and i absolutly loved it the air waves were booming. I fetch my equiptment here when i was age 24 plugged it in and it was like shock horror!! absolutly no one on! dead!
Ended up selling everything but 9 years on and im really really missing it just bought a cobra 148gtl-dx for old times sake i love these radios ever since i could afford one ive owned one started out on the most beaten up looking mustang cb 1000 you've ever seen lol.

No more suffolk fire on 71.275. Now all mobiles have been fitted with the new digital fire link radios the old system has now been turned off.
