I don't watch much TV either but Ghosts was amazing, Really worth watching. Even the American version is really good.

The detectorists was a series I didn't think I'd like but was pleasantly surprised.
Thinking about it.

NightProwler wrote: 01 Oct 2023, 12:34 Not sure if anyone watched 'Ghosts' on the evil BBC. Anyway there was a character called Pat who used CB in the 80's, It showed him sat in his garden shed talking to his mates. Sound familiar?
Yes Pat the scout leader was a Ghost of the 80s, and during his “When he was alive” scenes (in the 80s) he was using cb

I seem to remember Eddie Yates spoke to Stardust Lil and ended up marrying her, Maybe I have a mixed memory with something else

In Emmerdale Farm Amos and Mr Wilkes had CB handsets to communicate
Amos tuh bar, Amos tuh bar, Come in Mr Wilkes

In an episode of the Bill, Billy Murray character went rogue and kidnapped another officer, He communicated with a President Madison (Or possibly a Dwight D)
