Need some general eBay UK help

Hi Sammy.

Just checked now (time of this post) and there's nothing showing up for the keyword search you gave. Your eBay seller name just shows some Tums.

Thanks Andy . Yeah , it's a weird one . The TUMs have exactly the same shipping settings . I've been on the phone to eBay Spain this morning . They've documented the problem . However , as I've been "playing around" with the listings , they want to leave the current LED one that have now active , without touching it , for a few days to see if it appears on the other sites .

I'll update the post once I have more info .

I've just connected my VPN to the UK and I'm doing the UK ebay username listing search just now , and I can see both items . TUMs and a red led . Can someone else confirm ?

Weird .... I'm doing a basic search on Ebay.co.uk for "CB RADIO LED RED" and the item shows up about 6 or 7 down the list

Just added the blue ones now too , and some connectors . I'll leave them all for a while to see if they show up .

Although I have just been looking on a Spanish CB shop and they wouldn't ship to the uk

Funny thing is if I open a VPN to Spain and search for <CB Radio Channel display LED> I see your listings both RED and BLUE.

BUT

Go back to a UK based endpoint and no Sammy gear....

Cheers Dave . I've done that m8 . Went through it with the eBay support guy as well this morning . He said that the listings are fine . It takes a bit of time for the other countries to catch up . I think Claude said that they're showing up in France . Anyway . Ebay told me to leave them for a few days , so that's what I'll do . Might be a technical glitch somewhere in their system .

Hi Dougie . How's it going ? Yeah . I can see all my stuff here locally . It's really just the European sites . They don't seem to all synch up at the same time . As I said to Dave , I think they're showing up in France according to Claude . Anyway . I've created 4 lisings . 2 leds , and 2 lincoln plugs . I'll leave them for a while and see what happens . To provide you with a little more detail.

Ebay.co.uk - can't see anything of yours when on a UK IP range.
Ebay.co.uk - can see yours when on a Spanish, France or Irish IP range.

Ebay.fr - can't see anything of yours when on a UK IP range.
Ebay.fr - can see yours when on a Spanish, France or Irish IP range.

So, that points to Ebay using country IP's to Geo Block irrespective of you selecting sell to the world, Europe, Continental Europe etc. Kinda makes a mockery of those choices they provide.
Essentially if we want to see your items we need to open a VPN to a European Country and then we can see you r items irrespective of the Ebay domain we log into.

As Stronty says , it looks IP related , as I can see all 5 items on Eby.co.uk from here in Spain without the VPN , but the TUMs have the exact same shipping defined , so that kinda throws the IP posibility in the bin . Might be a bug in my user configuration somewhere ? I'll call eBay again on Monday and see what they say .
