I dont have any swr meters that cover the higher vhf frequencies
however i do have many that cover the lower hf up to 150 mhz varieties
Can it be easy enough to take an SWR meter and convert it to work on the higher frequencies for the 70cm bands ?
What could be involved in simple terms.
Thanks again

Simple terms: NanoVNA. You can't get decent UHF SWR in that price range.

If you have good eyes: https://aliexpress.com/item/4000559497296.html
but I would get this anyway: https://aliexpress.com/item/4000402236126.html
Cheaper than good UHF swr meter.

The second link you put is the same as mine.
Is there a better firmware to be had at all.
