1980's TV programme / sitcom?

Post by Hair Bear »

This is a long shot but here goes...
From what I can remember this was a live action set in a village in the west country. The villagers all appeared to communicate by cb, all in their cars and most with base radios at home. The pub had a base as well. I think the lead characters had an old Moggie van. It had a similar sort of vibe to Ballykissangel, just twenty years earlier.
Does anyone else remember this?
One person in ten understands binary, the other one doesn't.

I think you could be talking about one episode of the Comic Strip Presents

It's that good that it's actually hard to tell the difference between the 2

Produced by Brian May too. So a guarantee of quality. The band are on top form and the vocals are pitch perfect. In fact I'd say it puts the original to shame
