Hoping this is the right place to post this.
I have a Nevada 30A PSU that has a dead LED that should illuminate green when the unit is powered on, the resistor bands are red, black, yellow, gold and I don’t know it’s value. This LED is soldered to the top left and right pins of the 4 pin on/off rocker switch and I assume that this resistor drops the power from 240v to 12v to illuminate the LED. Having said all that, when I put the multimeter across the resistor I am getting a reading so I’m thinking that the resistor is okay but the LED has gone futt. I have searched everywhere for a replacement LED but have found nothing. The LED is tiny, 2mm x 6mm.
Resistor Value.

Re: Resistor Value.
First one. Very expensive for something smaller than a matchstick! I’ve found some wired SMD LED’s from a hobby shop that are rated from 12v - 18v for under £1 each so I’m going to use one of those connected to the DC power side of the PSU.The Collector wrote: ↑04 Jul 2021, 08:10 Is the LED shaped like this one?:
