Hytera Channel Knob

Hiya,
I suspect I know the answer to this, but thought it worth asking anyway - is there any way to change the behaviour of the channel knob on a Hytera DMR HT?
Unless I'm being thick, I can't see anything in the Hytera CPS, all it can do is give access to the first 16 channels in the zone.
PMR equipment I've used from other manufacturers would let you use the knob to select zones or contacts, or at least disable it, but on this it seems to be fixed behaviour, seems a bit odd on an otherwise very flexible radio!
Anyone spotted anything I'm missing?
